In these challenging times, many people have experienced some level of distress or trauma; if left untreated and unattended to, this can create interpersonal distress, emotional symptoms, or other unhelpful patterns that can alter our ability to live our best lives. As a Mental Health Counselor and Life Coach, my mission is to help my clients develop a renewed sense of self-trust, connection, and fulfillment in their lives and relationships. I aim to create a safe environment by empathetically attuning with my client’s experiences to effectively guide them through difficult emotions or traumatic life events. I am a strong believer that my clients are the experts of their lives and my goal is to help guide them to grow into their most healed and empowered self.

If you feel weighed down by feelings of anxiety, depression, or have experienced or are currently experiencing a traumatic life event, understand that these emotions are temporary. It is pivotal to give reverence to these emotions in order to process trauma and heal. Science has proven, thanks to neural plasticity, that healthy relationships and new positive experiences increase joy and re-establish social engagement systems in the brain, which renew trust and inspire interpersonal functioning. For this reason, it is my belief that developing a positive and healthy relationship with my clients enables them to create other positive relationships in their lives and find a renewed sense of hope.
